Description

Air Fryer Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wraps are a delicious and easy-to-prepare meal that offers a healthier twist on the classic buffalo chicken wrap.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing

Instructions

  1. Marinate your chicken strips in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk these dry ingredients together.
  3. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and let any excess liquid drip off. Dredge the chicken strips in the prepared flour mixture.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the coated chicken strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Transfer the cooked chicken to a mixing bowl and pour 1 cup of buffalo sauce over it. Toss until coated.
  7. Take a large flour tortilla and lay it flat. Add crispy buffalo chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
  8. Roll up the tortilla tightly around the fillings and slice in half. Serve immediately.

Notes

For less spiciness, use a milder buffalo sauce or mix with ranch dressing. Whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas can be used as alternatives.
