Description

Air Fryer Crispy Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges are not just a snack, but a delightful side dish that can elevate any gathering or weeknight meal. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, these potato wedges offer a crispy texture that can rival any deep-fried option without the extra calories.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by washing and scrubbing the russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Once clean, slice each potato into wedges, aiming for uniform size to ensure even cooking. Cover the wedges with cold water for about 30 minutes if you prefer extra crispy results.
  2. After draining and patting the potato wedges dry, place them in a large bowl. Pour in the olive oil, then add the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss everything together until the wedges are evenly coated in the delicious mixture.
  3. Next, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the seasoned potato wedges. Toss again to ensure every wedge is generously coated with the cheesy goodness.
  4. Set your air fryer to 400°F and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  5. Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd them. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  6. After 15 minutes, check the wedges. They should be golden brown and crispy. If they’re not quite there, pop them back in for an extra 2-3 minutes until perfection is reached.
  7. Remove the wedges from the air fryer and, if desired, sprinkle with chopped parsley for a fresh touch. Serve these hot and enjoy!

Notes

To achieve extra crispy potato wedges, soak the cut potato wedges in cold water for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Pat the wedges dry thoroughly after soaking to prevent moisture from steaming them during cooking.
