Description

Beef Sausage and Potato Skillet is an easy and satisfying one-pan meal that combines the rich flavors of beef sausage with hearty potatoes and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 1 1/2 pound potatoes, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to brown and soften.
  2. Add the sliced beef sausage to the skillet and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until lightly browned.
  3. Stir in the diced onion and red bell pepper. Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until softened, then add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
  4. Sprinkle in the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to coat everything in the spices.
  5. Continue cooking until the potatoes are tender and all ingredients are hot and well combined—about 5 more minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat on the stove or in the microwave until heated through.
