Description

Bok Choy Mushroom Stir Fry is a vibrant and healthy dish that combines the crispness of bok choy with the rich flavors of shiitake mushrooms, creating a delightful stir-fry experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb bok choy
  • 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely sliced
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil, divided
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly wash the bok choy and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat 1 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced garlic and mushrooms, and stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant and slightly softened.
  3. Add the prepared bok choy to the pan and continue stir-frying for another 1 to 2 minutes until the bok choy begins wilting but maintains its vibrant color and tender-crisp texture.
  4. Stir in the light soy sauce and oyster sauce. Drizzle the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of oil over the top and toss everything together until evenly coated.

Notes
