Description
A deliciously healthy twist on a classic favorite, combining the flavors of a cheeseburger with a nutritious salad.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup diced cucumbers
- 1/2 cup sliced red onion
- 1/2 cup dill pickles
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon, crumbled
- 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned and cooked through. Season the beef with the chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir and break up the beef into crumbles for an even, consistent texture.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare the creamy, tangy sauce by mixing together the ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika in a small bowl. Whisk until the ingredients are well combined.
- Start by dividing the shredded lettuce among individual serving bowls. Top each bed of lettuce with the cooked ground beef, followed by the chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, dill pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and avocado (if using).
- Drizzle the prepared sauce over the assembled Cheeseburger Bowls and serve immediately.
