- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
- Sprinkle in the flour and stir constantly for about one minute to create a roux.
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir to eliminate lumps, then add heavy cream and let simmer until thickened.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and let simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
