Description

Creamy Smoked Sausage Pasta is a comforting and craveable meal that combines a creamy sauce with smoky, savory goodness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounce smoked sausage, sliced
  • 16 ounce pasta
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 16 ounce tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Dried parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

2. Brown the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sliced smoked sausage and cook until it’s nicely browned. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside.

3. Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté it briefly until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Stir well to combine. Then, add the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes to thicken.

4. Combine the Pasta and Sausage: Add the cooked pasta and the browned sausage back into the skillet with the creamy sauce. Stir until everything is well coated and heated through.

5. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the Creamy Smoked Sausage Pasta with dried parsley for a touch of color and freshness. Serve immediately for a rich and comforting meal.
