Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cup shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 small flour tortillas
- Cooking spray or oil for frying
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the shredded cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Wrap your flour tortillas in a clean, damp paper towel and microwave them for about 20 seconds.
- Take one warm tortilla and place about 2 tablespoon of the chicken filling onto the center. Roll the tortilla tightly, tucking in the edges as you go. Repeat until all tortillas are filled.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange your taquitos seam-side down.
- Lightly spray the tops of the taquitos with cooking spray and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let them cool slightly before serving and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
To ensure a crisp texture, use cooking spray or oil carefully. Consider air frying for a different method. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
