Description

Crispy Stuffed Buffalo Chicken Taquitos are everything you love about game day snacks and comfort food combined into one delicious bite-sized treat. These taquitos bring together the bold, spicy flavors of buffalo chicken with the satisfying crunch of a crispy tortilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cup shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 small flour tortillas
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Wrap your flour tortillas in a clean, damp paper towel and microwave them for about 20 seconds.
  4. Take one warm tortilla and place about 2 tablespoon of the chicken filling onto the center. Roll the tortilla tightly, tucking in the edges as you go. Repeat until all tortillas are filled.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange your taquitos seam-side down.
  6. Lightly spray the tops of the taquitos with cooking spray and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let them cool slightly before serving and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

To ensure a crisp texture, use cooking spray or oil carefully. Consider air frying for a different method. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
