Description

Easy Cheesy Jalapeño Popper Chicken Sliders are a delicious combination of cheesy goodness and spicy kick that will leave you and your guests craving more. These sliders are incredibly popular for various gatherings, whether it’s a footie match, a birthday party, or simply a cozy evening with friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the boneless skinless chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Let them cool slightly before shredding the chicken.

In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly coated.

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.

Spoon the cheesy chicken mixture onto each bottom bun half, distributing the filling evenly. Cap them off with the top halves of the buns.

Place the sliders in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.

To serve, drizzle ranch dressing on top if desired and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.

Notes

These sliders can be customized with different cheeses or proteins. They can also be made vegetarian by using plant-based alternatives.
