Description

Easy Loaded Queso Potato Wedges are a comforting snack or side dish, combining crispy potato wedges with creamy queso cheese and crispy bacon. Perfect for game day or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded queso cheese blend
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • jalapeño slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges. Place them in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the potato wedges. Sprinkle in the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Once baked, sprinkle shredded queso cheese and crumbled bacon on top. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes to melt the cheese.
  6. Drizzle with sour cream, sprinkle with chopped cilantro, and add jalapeño slices if desired.

Notes

For a healthier option, use less cheese or turkey bacon. Sweet potatoes can be used as an alternative for a different flavor.
