- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions

- In a wide shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Carefully lower 3 to 4 chicken tenders into the hot oil and fry for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until deep golden brown and cooked through.
- After frying, let the chicken tenders drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, hot sauce, crushed red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, butter, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until the butter melts and all ingredients meld together.
- Transfer the fried chicken tenders to a large bowl and drizzle the hot honey sauce over them. Toss gently to coat evenly.
Notes
