Description

Loaded Bacon Cheddar Chicken Flautas are crispy, rolled tortillas packed with tender shredded chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy cheddar cheese, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 10 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
  • Sour cream (for serving)
  • Salsa (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Mix the filling in a bowl by combining the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over low heat or microwave them for a few seconds until pliable to prevent tearing during filling and rolling.
  3. For each tortilla, place about 2-3 tablespoon of the filling in the center and roll it tightly while tucking in the sides to secure the filling.
  4. In a deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat to around 350°F. Carefully place the flautas seam side down into the hot oil and fry each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the flautas from the oil and let them drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil before serving.

Notes

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with sour cream and salsa for dipping. These flautas are great for game day snacks or family dinners.
