Description

One Pan Cheeseburger Macaroni is a quick and tasty dinner that combines the classic flavors of a cheeseburger with macaroni, all cooked in one pan. It’s an easy go-to recipe that beats takeout any day of the week.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon dill pickle juice
  • 2 1/2 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 3 cup beef broth
  • 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 8 ounce shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onion. Season with salt, black pepper, ground mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Cook until the beef is fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks, ensuring even texture. Once cooked, drain any excess grease for a healthier dish.
  2. Next, stir in the minced garlic, ketchup, mustard, and dill pickle juice. Mix everything together thoroughly until the condiments are fully combined with the beef.
  3. Add the uncooked elbow macaroni along with the beef broth and the can of tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly combined.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes. Remember to stir once or twice to keep the pasta from sticking to the bottom.
  5. Once the macaroni is perfectly tender, add the shredded Colby Jack cheese and the milk to the skillet. Stir everything together until the cheese melts and creates a deliciously creamy sauce.
  6. Serve immediately, topped with freshly chopped green onions for a pop of color and flavor.
