Description

Parmesan Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts are a crispy and flavorful side dish made with fresh Brussels sprouts, olive oil or butter, garlic, and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 to 2 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced, or 1 to 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup grated Parmesan, divided
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1 to 2 teaspoon lemon juice, pinch of paprika, or 1 tablespoon panko

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F to 400°F.
  2. Trim the stem ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any damaged outer leaves. Cut them in half.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil or melted butter.
  4. Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and half of the grated Parmesan to the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for about 5 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  7. After cooking, add the remaining Parmesan and cook for an additional 3 to 6 minutes until golden brown.
  8. If desired, drizzle with lemon juice or sprinkle with paprika and panko before serving.

Notes

Serve hot and fresh from the fryer. Garnish with extra Parmesan and a twist of lemon for presentation.
