Description

A hearty one-pan meal combining smoked sausage, potatoes, and green beans.


Ingredients

  • 14 ounce smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 1 1/2 pound potatoes, diced
  • 12 ounce fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the butter and olive oil. Stir in the diced potatoes along with half of the seasoning mixture. Cook for about 5 to 6 minutes until they begin to brown and soften.
  4. Add the fresh green beans along with the remaining seasoning and chicken broth. Stir to combine, cover the skillet, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes until fork-tender.
  5. Return the browned sausage to the skillet, stir to combine, and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until heated through. Serve hot.

Notes

This dish is ideal for meal prepping! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
