Description

Sweet and Savory Brown Sugar Beef Bacon Kielbasa Bites are a delightful blend of flavors that offer the perfect complement of sweetness from the brown sugar and savory richness from the beef bacon and kielbasa.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef kielbasa sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 12 slices beef bacon, cut in half
  • 1 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top and spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a small saucepan, whisk together brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and honey over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the glaze bubbles. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Wrap each piece of kielbasa with half a slice of beef bacon and secure with a toothpick. Arrange on the wire rack seam side down.
  4. Brush each wrapped bite with the brown sugar glaze on all sides. Bake in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes, basting with extra glaze every 10 to 15 minutes until bacon edges turn crispy and golden.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool on the rack for about 10 minutes before transferring to a serving platter.

Notes

Select high-quality beef kielbasa and thick-cut beef bacon for best results. Adjust the glaze to your taste by adding more spices or hot sauce if desired.
